Course Overview
The Youth Empowerment in Agribusiness & Green Jobs Programme equips young people and youth-focused stakeholders with the entrepreneurial, technical, and employability skills required to access decent work, create enterprises, and lead innovation in agribusiness and the green economy. The programme responds to high youth unemployment while harnessing opportunities in agriculture, climate action, sustainability, and green value chains. The course integrates agripreneurship, green skills, digital innovation, and access to finance with practical pathways to employment and enterprise development. It aligns with Agenda 2063, the SDGs (especially SDG 8 and SDG 13), AfCFTA, national youth and employment strategies, and green economy frameworks. Participants gain hands-on experience in business development, value-chain engagement, and career planning to transition from training to income-generating opportunities.
