Course Overview
The Economic Diplomacy & AfCFTA Programme equips participants with the strategic, analytical, and negotiation skills required to advance Africa’s economic interests within bilateral, regional, and global arenas. The course examines economic diplomacy frameworks, trade policy, investment promotion, AfCFTA operations, and the role of African states in shaping global economic governance. Participants will gain practical knowledge in trade negotiations, regional economic integration, market access strategies, and the use of economic tools to support national and continental development objectives. Through case studies, simulations, and technical exercises, the programme prepares professionals to represent their institutions effectively, drive economic cooperation, and maximise opportunities under AfCFTA and wider global markets.
