Course Overview
Cyber incidents can rapidly escalate from a technical security event into a major organisational crisis. Ransomware, data breaches, business email compromise, denial-of-service attacks, insider threats and supply-chain compromises can disrupt operations, compromise sensitive information, create financial losses and damage organisational reputation. Effective cyber incident management therefore requires more than technical security controls. Organisations need clearly defined response structures, trained personnel, effective communication, tested procedures, business continuity arrangements and strong executive decision-making.
